EXHIBITION CURATION + SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING CAMPAIGN, 2019

The Witching Hour was my first experience as a curator of an art exhibition - with the majority of planning, organisation, artist liason, marketing, and documentation being completed by myself.

The exhibition featured 16 local artists and performers, creating work as an exploration and celebration of witches in contemporary culture. The diverse artworks encompassed a broad range of ideas, from talismanic objects to feminism, political commentary, and divine mysteries.

The Witching Hour opened on Wednesday 30th October 2019 and ran for one week, at Mothership Studios in Marrickville. The opening night featured live performances including a ritual commemorating the witch trials by Venus Vamp, Turkish coffee readings by Ivana Jovanovic, and the screening of the 1922 film Häxan on behalf of Pink Flamingo Cinema.

For the exhibition I created a full suite of branded collateral including posters, signage, social media tiles, artist statements, room sheets, and gallery sales sheets.
