This series of jewellery works references the harsh realities of climate change and the extremes of the Australian natural environment.

Even back in 2019, a year before Australia’s devastating Black Summer bushfire season, we had been facing severe drought and water shortages for a number of years.

These works are a reminder of the resilience of the land, contrasted with the fragility of life and property, in the face of the forces of nature and a warming planet.
