Brass Twist Penannular Brooch 20mm

This brooch design is based on my research of artefacts found in archaeological digs, dated from the Bronze Age through to the Early Medieval period. 

Every brooch is forged by hand in my studio using traditional techniques. The process begins by annealing the metal, then carefully hammering it into shape to ensure strength and durability.

Every brooch is unique, bearing my maker's mark and the distinctive hand of the maker just as ancient artifacts did.

Uses include:

+ Historically accurate accessory for Roman, Viking, or Early Medieval reenactment costume 

+ Wear as an everyday cloak pin, scarf pin or hat pin for a historical flourish
